Village Games

Last year Stokesby entered the Norfolk Village games competition for the Gt. Yarmouth area, in the small village category, and we won, unfortunately we did not do so well at the finals.

This year we intend to enter again hopefully doing a little better. The  first round of the games will take place on 17th June. The games include, table tennis, badminton, short matbowls, archery, football, tennis, darts, rounders, triathlon (bike/treadmill & rower), climbing wall and athletics ie a form of decathlon. We are hoping to have a Taster Day around the Easter holiday period where you can come and try out some of these sports.

Details will be advertised around the village and on the website.

If you are interested in taking part in the village games, lots of fun was had by those who took part last year, contact David Murison 01493 750253 or Carol at the Ferry Inn.
