Stokesby Village

Stokesby is a quiet village approximately 9 miles from Great Yarmouth and 13 miles from Norwich. The village is situated on the River Bure and offers visitors a tranquil and peaceful time for their stay.

Stokesby has the Ferry Inn, situated by the rivers edge with limited moorings. Unfortunately, they are unable to reserve moorings. They offer a large range of refreshments, and early morning breakfast from 8 am,  to late-night supper, finishing at 9pm.

There is also a busy Village Hall and Social Club. Regular services are held in St Andrew's Church which can be found just outside the village. It is accessible by foot or by vehicle

There is free parking beside the village green overlooking the river. Many visitors arrive by boat and although there are a limited number of free moorings by the car park, there are further moorings just past the Ferry Inn. There is a charge for using these moorings.

On the village green there are swings and slides for the young ones to let off steam.  There is a Village Shop attached to the Ferry Inn, details of opening times can be found on the Village Shop page
