Stokesby Village Hall & Sports and Social Club

Stokesby Village  Hall and the Sports and Social Club will be holding their Annual General Meetings on Wednesday 18th May at 6.30pm.

Due to the covid restrictions and the closure of the Village Hall there has not been an AGM for two years. The then elected committees have, in the intrim been managing the day today running of the building.

There are  two separate committees who are made up of residents of Stokesby and the  surrounding area. As with all committees we would welcome anyone who would like to join and help with the running and decision making for the Hall and Social Club.

Why not come along and see if you would like to help?

Home Library Service
The ‘Royal Voluntary Service’ and Norfolk County Council’s Home Library Service
Norfolk Library and Information Service, alongside their partners RVS, offer a free home delivery service to anyone living in Norfolk who is unable to use a branch or mobile library, either temporarily or on a permanent basis, as well as careers whose caring responsibility prevents them from using the library.
Home Library Service customers have access to the same range of materials and services as users of the branch and mobile libraries, and you can reserve items from any Norfolk Library free of charge.
The home library service provides books on wheels to the homes of people who like to use the library service but are unable to get to a branch or mobile library due to age, disability or mobility.

If you would like to either use this service or help as a volunteer, call 01603 397998. When you contact us we will chat with you about your needs, and find out what you like to read and listen to. We can then choose books, talking books and other items for you according to what you like.
Norfolk’s libraries have an excellent selection of books in large, as well as standard, print to suit your personal reading tastes and interests. We also stock a large range of talking books.
